Description: This 8,000-square-foot family fun pool includes the 740-foot-long Lazy River, five slides, a body flume, tube rapids, and racer slides. Smaller kids (48 inches and under) can play in the Wacky Water play area and enjoy a variety of bubblers, sprinklers, and fountains. There’s a spacious deck area for those who are more interested in soaking up a little sun, along with changing areas, a snack bar, and free parking. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Description: This 55,000-square-foot restaurant and entertainment complex has as many games to play as it has things to eat. Kids and grown-ups are drawn to Dave and Buster’s for the 300-plus games, including billiards, shuffleboard, video games, simulators, and just about every other electronic diversion you can think of. The food is mostly pub grub but includes other stuff as well.

Description: Ozzie’s is a sports bar and restaurant with good food and loads of sports memorabilia, including the seven Gold Gloves awarded to the Cardinals Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith. There are 50 regular TVs and five big screens scattered throughout the restaurant, and all are tuned in to a variety of sporting events. Plus, the food is actually very good for a sports bar–type restaurant.

Description: St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols and his wife, Deidre, partnered with a local restaurant group and opened Pujols 5, a high-tech sports bar and restaurant. The food is a cut above the usual sports bar fare, and the menu includes a number of Albert’s favorite dishes made from Deidre’s own recipes. There are plenty of burgers and appetizers, but the entrees also include grilled chicken, steak, and fish, along with pasta specialties and large salads. In the sports bar area, there are 32 LCD and plasma TVs, and each table is able to control a screen, so everyone can see and hear the game they want.
