Description: Millbrook is a city-run facility with 23 courts, four backboards, two ball machines, and a covered observation deck. Also on site are locker rooms with showers and a pro shop where players can have rackets restrung or grips replaced and buy balls. The city has 112 courts at 25 locations, where lessons and league play take place. Millbrook is the central location for most of the instructional programming and the site of most citywide tournament play.

Description: Kids and adults can find league hockey play on Raleigh IcePlex’s Olympic-size sheet of ice. The rink also offers public ice skating sessions with skate rental available for all sizes. Figure skating classes are available in group and private sessions.

Description: When the Carolina Hurricanes aren’t practicing here, young National Hockey League hopefuls and aspiring Olympic figure skaters take over. Classes are offered for ages as young as three, and instruction ranges from basics for beginners to multi-day, intense hockey clinics. League play is organized for kids and adults. RecZone is also the home ice for the N.C. State University hockey team. Check the calendar for public skate sessions and pick-up games.

Description: The Durham Cricket Club plays in the Mid-Atlantic Cricket Conference against teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Founded in 1999, the team draws players from all areas of the Triangle. The season runs April through September. Home turf is at Luther Green Park on Barbee Road in Morrisville.
