Description: A great place for families, the Holiday Inn Omaha Convention Center’s main draw is certainly the CoCo Key Water Resort, which is also the city’s only indoor water park that’s open year-round. Part of a national chain of waterparks, CoCo Key Omaha features an Olympic-size, beach entry pool, poolside cabanas, slides for kids of all ages, a huge dump bucket, a fast paced river ride, an indoor/outdoor spa (for guests 16 and older), and an interactive game room with arcade and video games. The park is available to hotel guests but also offers day passes to those not staying at the hotel. Passes are available online or at the door and day pass guests must bring their own towels. The hotel itself, attached to the waterpark, caters to families but also corporate travelers, with a fitness center, business center, and free wireless Internet throughout the hotel. An on-site restaurant, Tradewinds Restaurant and Lounge, is open for three meals a day and also provides room service throughout the hotel. A Scooter’s Coffee House in the hotel serves coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and pastries.
