Telephone: (775) 588-7777, (800) 624-7980
Address: 168 U.S. Highway 50

Description: The Lakeside Inn and Casino has many of the amenities but not the hubbub or size of larger properties at South Shore Lake Tahoe. It’s a little off the beaten path and several blocks from the heart of the action near Harrah’s Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nevada. But don’t sell it short; it boasts two restaurants in addition to a casino, several bars, a year-round swimming pool, a year-round hot tub, and a gift shop. The 124 rooms have just recently been renovated in a contemporary mountain lodge style decor. Insiders know that the Timber House Restaurant is a great place for prime rib at a reasonable price. Prior renovations added the Taverna for some hot Mexican food and cool margaritas and a sportsbook bar with more than 30 televisions.
