Description: America’s Best Value Inn certainly has one of the best locations in town. It sits between the American Civil War Museum and the Lincoln Train Museum on Steinwehr Avenue, right across from the Gettysburg National Military Park. This two-story hotel was built in the 1960s and offers 76 rooms, which are routinely renovated on a rotating basis. Most of the rooms have double beds, but some are equipped with king-size beds. If you want a smoking room, call early; all but two rooms are nonsmoking. And call early if you want the one room that comes equipped with a small efficiency kitchen. A free deluxe continental breakfast is available to guests, and you can get free coffee in the office 24/7. When you’re done touring, you can relax by the outdoor pool, enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or utilize the high-speed Internet access in your room. Children younger than age 18 stay for free with a parent.
