Description: Let me save you a trip to the dictionary— ephemera is defined in Merriam-Webster as paper items that were originally meant to be discarded after use but have since become collectibles. This three-day event is held annually from July 1 through July 3 as part of Gettysburg Heritage Days (see entry above). The show, which was introduced in 1987, is held in the ballroom of the Best Western Gettysburg Hotel. This is the place to find just the Civil War book you’ve been hunting for, since the show features new, rare, used, out-of-print, and reprinted books on the subject. More than 40 Civil War book dealers also offer photographs, diaries, letters, documents, and autographs for your perusal. For information on upcoming shows, contact Bill or Brendan Synnamon of the Union Drummer Boy store at (717) 334-2350.
