City: Gettysburg, PA
Category: Health Care
Address: 2311 Fairfield Road

Description: Located about 3 miles west of town, practitioners at this health center provide services related to natural health care and natural healing. The mantra here is that the client’s emotional, physical, and spiritual health is always of the utmost importance. The center offers yoga, integrative medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage, and counseling services in a serene, rural setting. Although they share a building and a common outlook on holistic healing, each practitioner runs an independent operation. The Sacred Lotus Yoga Studio located within the center is run by Lynn Roby, who follows the Kripalu methodology of yoga. Lynn is director and owner of the center as well as one of the center’s two counselors. The other counselor is Stacy Sechrist, and together Lynn and Stacy have 30 years of experience helping others. You can call Lynn at (717) 338-9777, and Stacy at (717) 752-5524. Dr. Christine Sheridan practices integrative medicine at the center. She is board certified in both family practice and integrative holistic medicine and focuses on providing preventive care to her patients. Therapeutic massages are given at the center by Nancy Hill. Nancy specializes in deep-tissue massage, Swedish massage, stone therapy, craniosacral therapy, lomi lomi massage, and Reiki I and II. She may be contacted at (717) 334-5140. Ted O’Brien is a Pennsylvania-licensed acupuncturist, and he also writes the “Holistic Living” column for the Gettysburg Times newspaper. Ted has worked with hundreds of patients using acupuncture and Chinese herbs and treating mostly pain-related disorders, and he can be reached at (717) 586-7044. Dr. Len Maza, a chiropractic doctor, joined the staff in January 2006.
