Description: Community events are highlighted in this free publication that’s put out monthly by Leonard and Diana Loski. Its 61⁄2-inch-by-101⁄2-inch black-and-white format is designed like a small book, and its 100 or so pages are chock-full of interesting articles on Gettysburg and the Civil War and pages and pages of ads for area businesses. Articles also feature area businesses. If you’re wondering what to do or where to go while in town, the Gettysburg Experience will give you ample of choices. The center of the booklet also features a fantastic map of downtown Gettysburg, making finding where you want to go a breeze. Trivia questions are at the bottom of every other page, and the answers are contained within the articles, and there’s also an answer key at the end of the booklet. The Gettysburg Experience is in just about every store you walk into, so finding a copy is never a problem, and most locals consider this the best reference when planning their leisure activities.
