Description: Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, The Plaza has gyros, kebobs, souvlaki, and other Greek dishes as well as more traditional dishes featuring fresh-cut steaks, seafood, chicken, chops, and barbecued spareribs. Grilled deli sandwiches, such as the grilled reuben, are featured at lunchtime, which also finds many customers ordering the homemade soups. Favorite Greek dinner dishes are the gyro platter and the chicken kebob platter, which are served on pita bread with tzatziki (Greek sauce made from garlic, cucumbers, and yogurt) and accompanied by a small Greek salad and fries or a potato. The barbecued spareribs, crab cakes, and lamb chops also are frequent dinner choices. The menu includes kids’ meals reasonably priced for children age 12 and younger. The Plaza has two entrances, one that opens onto the bar area and one that takes you directly into the dining room. The entrance to the bar is on the square while the restaurant entrance is a few steps down Baltimore Street. The bar area serves as the Plaza’s smoking area, and the dining room has booths along its perimeter and tables in the middle. You’ll find a casual atmosphere here, with good views of the square from the bar area.
