Description: In the past, as many as 50 acts have participated in the Lowcountry Blues Bash. Musicians such as Dave Peabody and Rob Mason, the Love Dogs, Big Boy Henry, Lil’ Brian & the Zydeco Travelers, Carl Weathersby, and Shrimp City Slim have played to enthusiastic crowds at more than two dozen venues throughout the area. The event proudly showcases some of the area’s older blues musicians along with ones up-and-coming on the scene. Cover charges range from free to $15 per performance. The 12-day event is held in early Feb.
