Description: This Chop House, located in the Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Center is one link in a very small chain of similar restaurants found in the Southeast and Midwest. In addition to both pork and lamb chops, the menu offers a diverse selection of steaks, including prime rib, New York strip, and medallions Anthony (grilled tenderloin served with a rich Bordeaux sauce, Burgundy mushrooms, and a béarnaise sauce—a deceptively small but filling portion). You’ll also find a number of chicken dishes as well as seafood entrees like North Atlantic salmon, baked scrod, and seafood pasta. Entrees include a choice of soup or salad and a choice of potato, and you can add a half or full skewer of char-grilled shrimp to any entree. Sandwiches, burgers, and salads are available, too, with popular choices including Oriental chicken salad, lunch chops, and a portobello veggie burger. The warm atmosphere reflects a simple but tasteful elegance, featuring dark woods, fireplaces, and shelves full of interesting knickknacks. You can also dine in the bar area, located just off the foyer. Choose among foreign and domestic beers or wine coolers, or bring your own alcoholic beverages with you. Reservations are not accepted, but you can call ahead for seating before your arrival.
