Description: If you like your grub with gospel, you’ll be in heaven at Tony Gore’s. Gore is not only an area gospel singer, but he’s a great cook, too. All the meats on the menu are fresh here, and Gore even has his own smokehouse. Some of the more popular dishes include ribs, pulled pork, pig wings (shank of pig that tastes like a cross between ham and ribs), burgers, beef brisket, and seasonal specials like all-you-can-eat catfish in the summer. The homemade desserts are definitely angelic. Gospel music plays constantly over the sound system, and Gore himself performs live a few days each month, often sharing the billing with other gospel singers. When he’s not singing or cooking, Gore is wandering from table to table, personally greeting his customers. Tony Gore’s is open for lunch and dinner daily.
