Description: In the market for a new car, or just like to gaze at sleek new vehicles? Get your fix at the Houston Auto Show, where you’ll find more than 500 of the hottest new domestic and foreign cars and get sneak peaks at cars and trucks of the very near future. You can even test-­drive some of the newest models. Children’s entertainment is available at the Kids Fun Zone, a supervised play area with arts and crafts, a giant obstacle course, a Monster Truck Jump, and a 30-foot slide. The Auto Show is held at Reliant Center at the end of January or the beginning of February. Admission is $10 for adults; kids 12 and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased at the box office (cash only) starting 15 minutes before the show opens, or through Ticketmaster. Park at Reliant Park for $8, or take the METRORail to Reliant Park.
