Description: Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital recently expanded to include 240 beds, making it one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the United States. The hospital has an emergency room just for pediatric patients and Houston’s largest level-­one trauma center for treating pediatric patients. Though Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital is known for its work in trauma, transplants, cardiac care, and neuroscience, it handles everything from neonatal care to common childhood ailments and injuries to transplants and potentially fatal diseases and injuries.
