Description: The bar here deserves a separate review from the fantastic German restaurant. It’s small and packed to the gills with every imaginable foreign and domestic brew. The selection runs between 300 and 350 varieties. But the real treats are the taps, which serve Aventinus and my personal favorite, Ayinger Brewery’s Celebrator Doppelbock.

4. Roger Brown’S Restaurant & Sports Bar

Description: Roger Brown, a six-time NFL Pro Bowler, opened this huge sports bar/restaurant in 2000 in what was once a Woolworth’s department store. There are more than 16,000 square feet here, with a dining room that has a fireplace and no big screen TVs for those who prefer to avoid the sports. But for most folks, sports are to be embraced, and you can certainly do that here. You have a stadium area that seats 160, with four jumbo-screen high def televisions. How big? They’re 8 foot by 6 foot. There’s a separate VIP room with two HD TVs, an Xbox, and Wii games. A banquet room can seat up to 90 people and a 90-foot bar with 60 stools. And if that isn’t enough selection, you can bring your laptop and tap into the free Wi-Fi.
