Observation: Single use items( cups) stored next to chlorine and chemicals on the shelf for sale. Poisonous or toxic materials held for sale on store shelves present a risk of contamination of utensils, and single-service and single-use articles if not stored properly. Separate or moved above. - Sanitizers
Observation:Spray chlorine sanitizer in excess of 200 ppm, diluted to 100 ppm today. Corrected on site.
- Light bulbs, protective shielding
Observation:Light shield above the far set of lights in the dry storage area is still missing, need to replace shield or provide coated bulbs or tube and end caps for the lights, to protect from shattering.
- Material characteristics of non-food contact surfaces
Observation:Has bare unsealed wood support behind the hand sink and mopsink, warewashing sink stand with laminate countertop cut edges and one shelving unit in dry storage area. All need to be sealed with at least two coats of light colored paint or varnish to make smooth, cleanable and nonabsorbent. Note: wooden shelving in walk in cooler no longer allowed, when need to replace provide a material that is not wood for this purpose.
