    Observation: Pper Iowa Plumbing COde requirements, facility must have 1 drinking fountain. Since facility is on a well, they are going to supply water bottles. MUST OBTAIN A WAIVER FROM THE STATE FOR BOTTLED WATER IN PLACE OF DRINKING FOUNTAIN.

    Observation: 1) Provide cove base for hand sink area 2) 3 compartment and food preparation sink area and 3) both restrooms to seal wall/floor juncture. 4) Seal with at least 2 coats of paint or use cleanable wall board behind hand sink and mop sink area. 5) Caulk around all sinks 6) Caulk around all plumbing penetrations in the walls. 7) Seal or cover around all gaps in electrical outlets and wall.

    Observation: Hand sink behind door in mop sink room. Must move sink or remove door to keep hand sink easily accessible for proper use.

    storage, maintenance, and removal
  • Premises maintained free of insects, rodents, and other pests
    The presence of insects rodents, and other pests are controlled as required
  • Outer openings are protected
    Observation: Must provide self-door closures for 1) Both restrooms and 2) All entrance/exit doors into facility. May have a screen door if want more air flow into facility but must still have a self-closure.
  • Equipment location, installation, repair, and adjustment
    Observation: Replace torn door gasket for produce and water cooler.
