The ability to explain the responsibility of the person in charge for preventing the transmission of foodborne disease by a food employee who has a disease or medical condition that may cause foodborne disease. Observation: The PIC could not remember the components of the sick policy. I provided her another sick policy and went over the policy with her.
Insect control devices are properly designed and installed Observation: Raid is unapproved for the food service area. The product was removed.
Handwashing cleanser, availability Observation: The hand sink in the prep area had several utensils being stored in it. The units were removed.
Established procedures for responding to vomiting and diarrheal events Observation: The facility did not have a diarrhea vomit clean up plan. I provided the PIC with one and she stated she would copy it and place it into protocol.
