KDA_3_10111 - --Behind the bar, the soda gun was in direct contact with the ice used for human consumption. COS-discarded the top layer of ice and placed the soda gun on the side of the ice bin. KDA_3_20215 - --On the dry food storage rack there was one can of Cannellini Beans with a deep dent on the bottom seam. COS-discarded. KDA_3_30412C - --There was a metal pizza slicer blade being stored wedged in between the metal food prep table and a metal knife holder (not a clean sanitary surface). COS-removed the pizza slicer. KDA_3_50118A1 - --In make table 1 there was a bottle of Caesar dressing (made on site) dated 1/6/16-1/12/16 and a bottle of Waite Balsamic dressing (mos) dated 1/6/16-1/12/16. COS-discarded. There was also a bottle of B.O. Vinaigrette dressing (mos) dated 1/7/16-1/13/16. The cook said that was not the correct date, it was made on 1/8/16. COS-dated the bottle correctly. In RIC (below MT 1) there was a plastic food grade container of hummus (mos) date marked 1/7/16-1/13/16. There was also a bottle of ranch dressing (mos) date marked 12/20/15-12/26/15. COS-discarded. In the WIC, there was a plastic food grade container of Crostini butter (mos) date marked 1/7/16-1/13/16. COS-discarded. KDA_3_50118A2 - --In make table 1 there was a bottle of Champagne Vinaigrette (mos) without a date. The cook said it was made on 1/13/16. COS-date marked the item. KDA_4_20211A2 - --On the utensil rack there was one (1/9) plastic food grade container with a crack on the side. COS-discarded. KDA_4_20216 - --On a metal food prep table there was a wooden knife block being used to store knives. COS-removed knives from the wooden block set and the cook set it aside to take it home. KDA_4_50111B - --The RIC (below MT 1) door gaskets are torn towards the top. The RIC (below MT 3) are torn towards the top. This does not provide a good seal. The plastic door to the large microwave is broken (piece of plastic is missing). KDA_4_60111A - --On a rack to the right of the stove, there were 2 metal tongs with dried food debris on the food contact surfaces and stored as clean. COS-moved to the ware wash area. On the hook above the 3 compartment sink there was one metal tong with dried food debris on the food contact surface and stored as clean. COS-moved to the ware wash area. The large mixer had dried food debris on the top metal frame where the whisk is inserted. The mixer was used yesterday. COS-cleaned. On the utensil rack there was one metal food grade pan with dried food debris on the outside and stored clean. There was also one metal food grade pan with a sticker left on the bottom and stored clean. There were two (1/3) plastic food grade containers with dried food debris on the outside and stacked clean. COS-moved all of the items to the ware wash area. KDA_4_60111C - --There is minor dust build up on the fire suppression system pipes and light fixtures above the stove/fryers. KDA_4_60212B - --The inside of the large microwave had dried food debris on the sides and ceiling. The cook said it gets cleaned everyday. KDA_4_90311B - --On the utensil rack there were two (8 qt) plastic food grade containers stacked wet/clean and not able to properly air dry. KDA_5_20515B - --The atmospheric vacuum breaker on the mop sink leaks when water is supplied. KDA_6_30114 - --There are no handwashing signs in the men or women's restrooms. KDA_7_20111A - --On the dry food storage rack there was a working pump bottle of Germ-x hand sanitizer being stored directly next to an onion and a box of Jiffy Corn Mix. COS-removed chemical. Down in the basement there were 2 jugs of bleach being stored directly next to boxes of gloves (used to handle food items). COS-removed the chemicals. Food Poisoning, my husband, son and myself all got violently ill after eating here. We called and spoke to the manager and he told us food poisoning takes 72 hours! Unbelievable we did not have anything other than what we ate there and all were throwing up. We called as a courtesy, in hopes that we could save others from the same fate, but we're told it was not true. But after reading the health inspection violations they have had, it falls right in line with the violations they received, we will NEVER GO BACK.
