4-302.14 - --The clerk said the soda machine nozzles are sanitized in bleach water and their coffee pots/other dishes are sanitized in the pink quaternary ammonia under the mop sink. She is unable to provide test strips for either of these sanitizers. (Note - you may use the 1-2-3 method for measuring bleach - 1 cap of bleach to 3 gallons of water. Please get test strips on hand to verify your concentrations of both sanitizers). KDA_4_60211E4 - --There is a white guard/block in the ice dispenser of the coca cola soda fountain. There is mold build up along the edge of this white guard. KDA_Defacto - --Gas station convenience store offering mainly self-service drinks/donuts/prepackaged foods. --In the back storage room there was Pine Sol on a shelf directly above a bottle of Muscle Milk. The clerk said that this muscle milk is not to be sold. Recommended if it is a return, have a specific location labeled "Returns" for items. --There is no 3 vat sink in the establishment for ware washing. They have a variance to use three tubs, one each for wash, rinse, sanitize. When asked, the clerk said that the coffee pots/other items that need washed are being washing in the sink over on the wall. When asked where the mop water is dumped, she indicated the same sink. She said that the tubs are used for soaking and sanitizing the soda pop nozzles. She verified that she is one of the individuals who does dishes as needed. --Windowed Cooler: Chicken Sandwich - 36.3 F KDA_KSA65_657b - --On the retail shelf there is a single package of Bayer [2 tablets] that is expired (Lot 234421H Exp 6/13) and a single package of Allergy Relief [20 capsules] that is expired (Lot 3015 Exp 8/15).
