Was in there last Saturday night. Order a sandwich and walked around In & Out for a minute. Was directed by my wife to look back at the food prep area. They were making dough at the time and a female (not in uniform) was poking and prodding it with her unwashed finger. The oven side door handles were falling off the top and the bottom, the boy making the pizza's was ungloved, never washed his hands, walked back and forth between the prep area and the walk-in cooler and went right back to handling food. He then placed a mushroom bucket that was just on the floor a second before DIRECTLY onto the food prep table surface. Then he proceeded to make pizza while smoking e-vapor cigarette at the prep station. There was no food certified manager on duty (and no one there knew of a person that worked there at all that had one). After reporting this to the NKY Health Department, I was told that all my claims were unfounded and bogus, EVEN THOUGH 9-10 other people including everyone at In & Out and Subway witnessed the same exact things. Very unclean. Never would have happened under former management. As I understand it, the corporate office has closed this location a few times in the past few months for other unrelated issues. If you value your health and safety, I would only get carryout and monitor the entire food making process. It was clear after speaking to the health 'official' (who admitted that he is responsible for inspections at this location for the last 6 years) that the man went very early morning and not a time comparable to when the incident occurred. I guess next time I need to document the infractions via photo and send them to someone else instead.
