I was there yesterday (10/6/23)around noon. I ordered a hot dog and a bag of Fritos. I had not eaten ANYTHING prior to that or after that. As of 3pm, I had to go home early from work. Around 4pm I started vomiting. It is now 4pm 24hours later (10/7/23) and I am just now able to drink fluids and keep them down (so far). I will be filing a formal complaint. In hindsight I remember the man serving a customer right before me. He put on gloves, completed her transaction, (which was the exact same order-hot dog & chips) then took my order and used THE SAME gloves. He also took the hot dog out of the refrigerator and sounded like it was put directly into the microwave onto the microwave plate. I don’t know what else has been on that microwave plate! I also realized after the fact that he didn’t change his gloves so anything could have gotten me sick. I have never been this sick. I will pursue this complaint to the furthest extent of the law. I only hope the woman before me didn’t get sick and I plan to go down to his establishment within the dmv/Decatur and talk with him asap so others who eat those hot dogs don’t get sick too.
