The Jefferson Inn has good food, and decent prices, great place for lunch if they would ever answer the phone to place your order!!! A lot of days they are supposed to be open at 12 noon and its closed...?? Not really sure why.
Drinking there in the evening is ok the people are nice for the most part but young barmaids don't know what they are doing. The one girl flagged my friend that only drank 3 beers ( and she CAN drink) my friend spent most of her time outside on her phone, there was not enough time for her to even appear drunk????? I guess when your in a small town and its the only one there its a place for them but I would never make special plans to hang there for the fun of it.

Thank you for the compliment regarding our food! Sorry about your experience but the barmaids are my daughters w/ explicit instructions that the safety of our customers comes first! It has never been our intention to alienate some one who can enjoy their alcohol responsibly. I have however reminded them over again better to err on the side of caution.
