    Management is not training or monitoring employees in food safety as it relates to their assigned duties as evidenced by the risk factor violations noted in this report.

    Observed grill cook scratch their ear and rub their lips while wearing single use disposable gloves and not wash hands and change gloves as required until approached by the inspector and informed what was just observed. Corrected on the spot.
  • Preventing Contamination from Food Employees' Hands (46.261)
    Observed employee fill drinking cup with edible ice while running the cup and their hand through the drinking ice. Employee filled second drinking cup using the ice scoop as required. Corrected on the spot.
  • Time as a Public Health Control for Potentially Hazardous Foods (46.385(c))
    Time in lieu of temperature being used in the food facility to control ready to eat potentially hazardous foods without written procedures or documentation to verify disposition of food. An opened block of sliced cheese was found on the sandwich preparation/toppings area without anything indicating the time removed from refrigeration and the plastic food clock next to the table for tracking disposal times was not being used to indicate disposal time either as required. Corrected on the spot.
  • Frequency of Cleaning Equipment Food Contact Surfaces and Utensils (46.712)
    Observed heavy mold like growth inside the soda dispensing nozzle in the drive-up window area. Corrected on the spot.
  • Light Bulb Protective Shielding (46.922(a))
    Light is not shielded or shatter proof in the walk-in freezer. Shield replaced. Corrected on the spot.

    A food employee was observed touching ready to eat food with his bare hands. Meat person was preparing 2 sandwiches and placing buns in center of paper wrap with bare hands. Sandwiches were disposed of.

    Observed leaks at piping of 3 bay sink. Observed 2 buckets catching water. A work order has been called in within the past week. Correct in 3 days.

very nice place to eat and to talk to employees and very clean. what an inspiration to the community..wished other restaurants would follow their footsteps. they are the nicest people around especially Ryan Fraley and the management of this restaurant. thank-you, 60 year old customer.
