The Riverview Inn was a catering and banquet hall and not a hotel. The previous review is bogus. The Inn was closed down 12/14 due to retirement from the business. I had a lovely time there during an afternoon of food, fun and entertainment in October 2014. Great hospitality and very beautiful setting alongside the Delaware River. The hostess, Mrs. Judith Shay and her husband Charlie, ran this catering facility for almost 30 years. They had a wonderful reputation in the community and many expressed their sadness at the closure. They had a terrific bartender there named Rick and he made the most amazing sangria the day that I was there.

It started out as a whim, a day to decide how to break up the day to day monotony of our lives. With little money and an equal amount of research, my wife and I came upon a cute little inn in up-state Pennsylvania. With the mundane falling further behind with every passing mile and a romantic weekend quickly approaching, we realized that fun was sure to ensue.
A drive through the country-side, amenities comparable to a five star hotel and an ambiance that would satisfy the most discerning tastes, made our stay at the Riverview Inn the most memorable.
