Lefors, TX: LEFORS CITY HALL. Lefors was elected the first county seat when Gray County was organized in 1902, and was incorporated as a town in 1931. The county seat later moved to Pampa.

Lefors: ENTERING LEFORS. The small town is situated along the North Fork of the Red River and State Highway 273, twelve miles southeast of Pampa in central Gray County.

Lefors: PETROLEUM PROCESSING PLANT typical of many that dot the surrounding area. Many exist only to move oil through a network of underground pipes.
