why was this school shut down? I attended this school back in 2001-2002 before I had to move back to California. I felt it was the prefect learning environment for elementary schoolers. the school did not have a lot of students, but you had more one on one time with the teachers, and the playground (though old) filled our minds and souls with imagination. This school helped build up my self esteem; after having only attended California schools, where teachers would throw you aside if you could not keep up with the learning curriculum. I'm currently a collage student going for my criminal justice and auto mechanics degree and living in Reno NV, however if I had the time, i would purchase the old Haig school and restore it to its original heyday.
