I have heard of the wonderful Jamestown through my brother, who has been working for Browning's Honey Corporation for the past six years. My wife and I are South African born citizens and are currently teaching at a school in Polokwane in the province of Limpopo, South Africa. We are looking for an opportunity to broaden our horizons through teaching in America.
We are respectively 31 and 27 years of age and have several years teaching experience and we are both experienced in coaching several sports activities, ranging from netball, rugby, track and field (in which my wife is a South African Champion in discus) and cross country, which I have been coaching for several years and have taken numerous aftheletes to the South African Championships.
I am aware of the fact that additional tests have to be written to qualify to teach anywhere in the United States, if you are not a native of America.
Can you possiby advise us on how to and what protocol to follow in order to teach in America?
We are looking forward to hear from you.
Neil de Beer.
