I went to Jessie Loomis in the mid fifties and lived in a housing project called the Caledonia Courts that's been torn down. It was w/i walking distance. Anyone know where the Courts would have been located? Thanks

I went to Jessie Loomis in the fifties also. I do remember Caladonia Court but couldn't tell you exactly where it was. I have a memory of a little boy from there who came to school with a shaved head wearing a stocking hat. We were told he had lice. Strange what one remembers 60 years later.

The Caledonia courts were west of Bagley on Webber street, before you get to the railroad tracks. I think there is some sort of national guard or military unit there now. went to Jessie Loomis also. I also lived in the courts.

Caladoni Courts were bounded by Webber, Bagley, Ruckle and the railroad tracks to the west. Audrey France's Center was at the far west side of the courts. They were torn down around the late 50s early 60s. The Army Reserve built a complex after the courts were torn down. I too went to Jessie Loomis in the early 50s. Had a lot of friends who lived in the courts.

I lived at the Caladonia Courts in 1953 and went to kindergarten at Jesse Loomis to 6th grade. Mrs. Gardener was my kindergarten teacher. 3rd grade was Mrs. Alice and 6th grade teacher was Miss Donaldson.

I remember Fritz and Mike Schumann
