- [2] Containers or receptacles: covered; adequate number; insect/rodent proof; frequency; clean
New composting machine is leaking out onto the garbage area and may be contributing to the large fly issue outside. Containers of compost were stored otuside without covers. Repair compost machine leak and provide covers for any compost food product left outside.
- [1] Outside storage area enclosures: properly constructed; clean; controlled incineration
Observed several issues in garbage area that may be contributing to outside fly issues and general cleanliness issues. The first is a drain pipe on the ceiling that constantly pours a fair amount of water down; creating standing water issues. In addition; under the compactor; there are also areas where the concrete is pitted out; adding to the standing water issues. The water should be redirected appropriately away and any pitted areas should be repaired.
