Observed trash bags containing trash and boxes in hallway next to the back door to the outside. Area was beginning to smell. Trash shall be removed daily to prevent the attraction of pests and vermin.

Notes:-hand sink stocked; facility does sample candies on weekends; discussed no bare hand contact with no issues noted; single service for samples; do provide hand washing signs for all handsinks-ensure hot water pump in restroom remains on at all times to ensure an adequate supply of hot water to facilitate proper handwashing.-food properly stored-dates checked ok; discussed first in; first out and recall procedrues with no issues noted; all food from approved sources-chemicals labeled and properly stored-restrooms clean and stocked-no pest issues noted at time of inspection; if need arises do contract with licensed pest control operator for any needed abatement-shelving is clean-discussed employee health - ensure anyone with gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting / diarrhea) is excluded for 48 hours after symptoms stop.

Notes:Handsink installed in back next to utility sink. Facility shall properly stock all handsinks at all times with hot and cold running water; liquid soap and sanitary disposable towels.Do place a handwashing only sign at handsink. Only handwashing is to occur in handsink. Handsinks will be unobstructed to promote proper handwashing.No leftover such as opened jars of sauces; dips will be refrigerated. Facility will only serve prepackaged food items. All food items to be dispensed and served using single service servingware.This facility will be assigned a risk category 1 facility and will adhere to the following conditions in regards to serving food samples at Old Farmer's Almanac:1) All of the food items approved in the attached sampling menu list will not be thermalized or re-heated/heated in any manner ex. microwaved; use of a crockpot; etc.2) No slicing of foods will occur. The facility is not equiped with the necessary 3 compartment sink; prep sink or dishwasher to wash; rinse and sanitize any food related equipment.3) Only prepackaged foods from their original containers will be served at facility.Any violations to the above conditions may result in immediate suspension of health permit.OK to operate; OK to issue health permit.
