Description: This resort is tailor-made for family skiing with easy and challenging downhill trails plus lots of ski and snowboarding instructors. This is an excellent learning environment for children. Lessons are available for kids age four and older. In conjunction with the Mom’s Monday, a series of women-only classes on Monday afternoons, Eldorables provides two-hour lessons and rental equipment for four- to six-year-olds. The Nordic Center is adjacent to the downhill ski areas. In addition to beautiful, wind-sheltered trails, it offers cross-country skiing lessons. Instructors set up the kids’ lessons so everything’s a game, and because there’s so much movement, children tend to stay warmer than they do during downhill skiing.

Description: Wild Bear summer camp is based at the Nederland Elementary school. They have programs for kids 5 through 12 years old. The Junior Rangers are for six and seven year olds who like to get their hands dirty. They discover the wild animals on the trails surrounding the elementary school and cultivate their own biodome!
