Description: This space goes beyond the average art gallery into the realm of cultural center for Cuban heritage. Both the art and extensive library at the Cuba Ocho Art and Research Center reflect works dating back to the 1850s by Cuban artists. Promoting artistic forms of Cuban culture is the main goal of the center and beyond the items acquired by the center, involvement in cultural events throughout the year is another way they get involved. Description: The Miami Hispanic Cultural Art Center, nicknamed the White House of Ballet due to its appearance, is scheduled to open its doors to the public at the end of 2011. The center will house The Miami Hispanic Ballet (MHB), the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami (CCBM) and the Creation Art Center (CAC). In addition to exhibits, performances, and film screenings, the center will also offer intensive workshops and dances classes.
