Description: A small, European-style hotel, the Cannon Beach has a long history of providing comfort to the weary. It was built as a loggers’ boarding house, but it has been fully remodeled and has graduated from its humble origins to become a delightful and cozy hotel and bistro. There are just nine rooms, one of which is a suite; they are custom-furnished; each has a private bath. Some rooms also have fireplaces and spa tubs. (All the rooms have television DVD/VCR.) Breakfast is delivered to your door each morning, and room service, which is relatively rare on the Oregon Coast, is available from the restaurant. The lobby is worth mentioning too—it’s a welcoming room with a fireplace, a nice place to curl up with a cup of tea to read the paper. Please don’t smoke here, or bring your children, and leave your pets at home.
