Description: The Inn at the Shore is, we admit, a rather large hotel on the beach. But unlike most of the hotels in Seaside, it is at the quieter south end of the beach near Tillamook Head, away from the arcades and candy stores. You can still stroll up the Prom to get your saltwater taffy and ride the bumper cars, but at the end of the day, you can stroll back and watch a beautiful sunset from a peaceful bit of sand. Eighteen suites provide all the usual amenities and then some. In many of the suites, you’ll find gas fireplaces, kitchenettes, wet bars, and balconies; in all of them, you’ll find televisions with DVD and VHS players. The inn also offers free wireless Internet service and complimentary bike rentals. The Inn at the Shore is wheelchair accessible and has pet-friendly rooms. No smoking, please.
