Dozens of volunteers race hot lunches every day of the week—regardless of weather—to homebound citizens from the state line in Little River as far south as Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet. More than 40,000 meals are delivered. These volunteers are so dedicated, they even make deliveries on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. With so many meals to deliver to so many needy folks, Mobile Meals more than welcomes another pair of helping hands.
