On August 24, 2015 about 11:30pm, I visited Metro Café and ordered the Chicken Fajita. I ate one and proceeded to make another and noticed that the rice was slimy. I called the waitress, who didn't understand English well, so I then got the on duty manager, I had them both observe the slime and smell that it was sour. The manager went to the back to investigate and found that the beans were what was slimy (The food was sort of mixed up on the plate at this time). She said the cook didn't know that he had to change the beans out periodically. She comped my meal and I got a bowl of lemons to suck on to hopefully combat the effect of the bad beans. I became sick that night and called back to report that I still got sick. I was ignored. I finally got to speak with Matt, after walking in unexpected several weeks later and told him what happened. He said he would have at least one of two others contact me with reference to this. To this date No One has contacted me. This was a horrible experience for me to say the least, and to add insult to injury, the owners/mangers will not call me back even though I placed a written report with them immediately.
If the managers are interested, I have left my contact information on the site. I will also be mailing you a copy of my original complaint this week; the week of December 1, 2015. My name is Charlotte
