I have been in aviation more than 50 Years and from a small rural farm town in Indiana of 6,500 more less. I can tell you many time's an airport over the years came and gone. all ways a grass strip a farmer made. in the late 50's at least 16 aircraft with 10 B-13 tied down that flew every Sunday morning. A Civil Air Patrol was formed that was supported by several aircraft owners. Maybe you can save your airport by getting an activity started.

As the old saying goes. USE IT OR LOOSE IT. Start having active every week end, PLAN the future. Fore sure if you loose it now you will never get it back. Please do not fill your airport is there for the 9 airplane owners.
