Sacramento Convention Center

Sacramento Convention Center is located at J Street in Sacramento, California and is approximately 10 miles from Sacramento International Airport. The center is home to many things including exhibit space, meeting rooms, function space and theaters. It is just blocks away from the Amtrak station and is easily accessed via bus and light rail.

On the third floor of the convention center is a 25,000 square foot ballroom, which can accommodate banquets for up to 1,500 guests or theater style meetings for 2,500 people. In total there are 31 meeting rooms and catering can be provided for any event held at the venue. The 134,000 square foot exhibit hall can be divided into five separate areas and has hosted many different types of shows and exhibitions.

There are two theaters located here, one of which is the 2,422-seater Community Center Theater. This plays host to various shows from local performing art groups to national tours of singers, comedians and Broadway musicals. The Jean Runyon Little Theater has 272 seats and is ideal for community theater productions, puppet shows and readings amongst other things. The box office is located in the lobby of the Community Center Theater, where guests can purchase tickets Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm for all events held here.
