Luv that bird! Wiley Coyote will never catch 'im! Totally cool pix; in fact, the best I've ever seen of these totally surreal birds! Gotta love that proud head crest!!!

He had hopped down into the bush after we took a few photos so I walked out on the patio to get more pics "in the wild" & our foster dog ran around and startled him back on the patio wall, about 2 feet from where I was standing... I was as startled as he was, but he was gracious enough to stay there while I snapped away. Perhaps it's a good omen for the new year.
