While nowhere near on the same calibre of the mentioned list, I like Folks Southern Kitchen. They've been around since the 80's if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately they seem to be having a tough time. The one in Lawrenceville closed and there was one in Conyers a long time ago if I recall correctly that also closed. I think Tucker, Marietta and Woodstock are still open.

Yep, they've been around for years. They used to have great catfish and fried chicken, but I haven't been in a long time. I do think the one in Tucker on Lavista is still there, ironically right around the corner from the last remaining Hickory House - which used to have locations all over town. They still have the best Brunswick stew I've ever had.

My mother was crazy for their Brunswick Stew, I miss their potroast and their peach muffins.
