Atlanta just built a new international concourse and about 3-4 of it's concourses are Delta.

Actually, two commercial carriers are starting to utilize Peachtree-DeKalb Airport in NE Atlanta. As it is, its the second busiest airport in Georgia.

I've flown through Dallas many times, but the first time that it was a destination my mind was blown! I couldn't believe how large it was in terms of acreage. It has to be maybe 5 miles from the entrance until you get to the terminals. It might be 20 times larger in area than LAX. At least the non-restricted areas.
Yep, D/FW is huge. It covers lots of land area, 27 square miles to be exact. That's a small city.

Yeah, but it doesnt exactly have a diverse line up. 90.63% is either Delta or Air Tran/Southwest. Its to be somewhat expected from a mega hub. Atlanta has 7 foreign flags. My beloved DFW is around 75% American Airlines with 11 foreign flags.

In what way is it a benefit to passengers for an airport to have a large footprint like this?
