Jays 5 @ Orioles 2

Six strong from J A Happ and a bunch of doubles ensured the Jays a split in Oriole-land. A day off tomorrow and then 3 in New York - lately a graveyard for the Jays. IIRC, they lost all 10 games there last season.

Can't allow that this year.

Default And now for something completely different.

Wonderful clip about the making of a Father's Day surprise for three Jays players.

Jays 1 @ Yankees 3

Didn't see much of the game. Have friends visiting for a few days and they're not ball fans. From what I did see, Tanaka's reputation has followed him here. The home plate ump was calling strikes for him that were well outside the zone.

I hope the Jays can square things tonight.

Jays 3 @ Yankees 7

Didn't see the game.

Lucky me.

The streak of lost games in Yankeeland now stands at 12. What a revoltin' development....

Yuck.

And I made a boo-boo. Not 13 straight losses at Yankee Stadium - it's 16.

Yuck.

Jays 14 @ Reds 9

Weirdest.

Wildest.

Game.

Ever.

Jays overcame an 8-0 Reds lead in the 2nd inning - tied it at 9 in the 8th. And then kicked in 5 more in the 9th to secure a very unlikely win.

Kudos to the bullpen and timely hits from all over the lineup, including 2 dingers from EE.

This team has something special going on.

You heard it here.

Yep. He hit a bit of a bump the first couple of weeks this month but seems to be getting back on track. Could hit between 40-50 this year.

Jays 3 @ Reds 4

Yikes. This is starting to resemble last year. Lawrie and Bautista both have to leave the game. Reyes, who was supposed to rest a sore leg, had to come in. Lind's bad foot limits him to hitting.

Let's hope some home cooking helps...unlike the last homestand.
