So far Stanton has reminded me of Danny Tartabull....strikeout artist unless team is up 6-0 and he hits a solo hr. Not too impressed.
Oh wait..Tartabull played defense while Stanton makes Clay Bellinger look like Willie Mays out there.

Long time without an update.

Didi took quite a dive but I think he's starting to pick up some steam again.

Offense seems to be taking turns as to when they're going to turn it on. No one has stayed relatively consistent yet.

Not a problem....Stanton still has another ten seasons and 253 million dollars to go, plenty of time to work on his swing.

Division series now tied at 1 game apiece. Judge really has it going on.

I'm hearing a lot of reports that the Yankees won't be huge spenders this off-season. That's disappointing! It's not the Yankees way. I hope it's just spin they're giving the media. I don't want the team to be outspent and outperformed by the Red Sox every year. I thought this was just a one-year luxury tax reset. It would be an uphill battle to try to squeeze more wins out of a $190 mil payroll than Boston would get out of a $250 mil payroll.

IMHO there needs to be an owners salary cap limit that they cannot go over not even 1 penny, that'll bring down those astronomical contract amounts and have more parity within all of baseball.

Harper to fetch $400-$500 million according to his agent -
At this rate a $1 billion contract and or even giving "x" percent ownership of a team just for a player to be part of such is not far off IMO.

Something has got to give as fans will stop attending games because of the then ultra-high ticket and concession prices.

Not even the Yankees are that stupid to give in IMO.
Unless they subtract then add from their current payroll.
