I wouldn't want to either, he's a big strong guy, his agility and athleticism for a MLB player is not up to par, we'll see if he's worth all that money, although, I think he's better suited for football. . .hmm, i bet he is on the juice!

I think you mean A R T E M O R E N O. The Angel fans don't pay him- ownership does.

As such, I would pay $250 million for a $3 billion TV deal to be paid in 20 years. Moreno rejected a $550 million/10 year deal before Pujols was even signed. Even if you subtract the $250 million from the $3 billion that's $2.750 billion- way more than $550 million dollars. If Pujols sucks big time for the next 10 years $25 million a year won't sink the Angels like lots of people think.

-Cheers.

The Angels have now been put over the top. They signed C J Wilson, and now they have Albert Pujols. This seriously puts them back in high contention, and I would consider them an early favorite for the AL West title in 2012. Pujols may have taken a step back in his career, but he is very much still capable of putting up big numbers.

Depends on what Texas does with Darvish. If they can sign him, that can replace the hole vacated by Wilson.

I think LAA has made some solid improvements, but the Red Sox also made some solid improvements last season. They still got beat by a more hungry and motivated team in Tampa, despite huge numbers by Gonzalez and Ellsbury.

Default Mike Trout called up by Angels

If Bryce Harper isn't the best prospect in baseball, then there's a good chance that Mike Trout is.

Both of them are in the bigs now.
