Birmingham has an Urban Outfitters at the Summit.

I would like to see:
Nordstrom
Kate Spade
Guess?
Tommy Hilfiger
H&M
Polo Ralph Lauren
Louis Vuitton
Gucci
Burberry
True Religion Jeans
Trader Joe's
Dillard's
Crabtree & Evelyn
Crate & Barrel
Tiffany's

Really, Birmingham has great shopping for a city it's size.

Thanks for reminding me A&M..lol. There is already a Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Ralph Lauren at Watermark Place, but they may be moving over to the Shops at Grand River in the near future. A Norstrom was planned for the Galleria.

Birmingham doesn`t have Tommy Hilfiger,Polo Raulph Lauren,Dillard`s and True Religion jeans ?? I know that shopping in Birmingham is far more superior than it is in Mobile but we do have(Tommy Hilfiger,Polo,Dillard`s and boutiqe stores that sale True Religion Jeans and other brands that are in that category..And if I`m not mistakin I believe we have a Guess ? store within the metro as well. I find it hard to believe that Birmingham doesn`t have those stores.

Yes Bham does have Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger store currently in Watermark Place. Both are probably moving to the Shops at Grand River though.

Yeah, Watermark is a failure. It's too far out there and nothing to support it but Alabama adventures. No hotels, no restaurants, no apartments, nothing. Seeing those stores move to Grande River would be a big improvement for them I imagine, but then Watermark would probably have to shut down. I think only like 30-50% (my guess) of the available retail space is being used.

I dunno, I'm pretty happy right now without all that. I think people buy enough junk already.
Farmer's markets have become crazy popular. They should have them on days besides Saturday morning in the summer. The selection of groceries here is pretty limited and poor quality aside from those.

you can buy Polo, Tommy Hilfiger in the big dept stores like Belk and Macy's - I am not a big shopper so i am fine but I've heard good things about Trader Joe's- don't think they are in the South though.

Aside from a Nordstrom's and a Crate & Barrel, I can't think of much. And there is an Urban Outfitters at the Summit.

I believe Macy's is owned by the same company as Dillard's. Of course, there are different levels of Dillard's - rag store to upscale.

I still miss Parisian!
