US Steel purchased the property in late 2018 with the intent of developing or perhaps finding a company to developed that land into a warehouse/distribution facility.

It doesn't say who the company is. It does mention that it's a company currently in Bham that wants to build a newer, larger facility.

Talked with a FedEx Freight driver, he said he didn't know what's was going there. But assume it's probably a new Ground facility.

That's kinda a bummer as my friends in Ross Bridge were hoping for something more, um fun I guess. A fedex facility doesn't really make an area more attractive but at least it's traffic.

Seemingly, these type of jobs are concentrated closer to the 150/Lakeshore intersection, while the more “techy” or white collar jobs are in the JeffMet closer to Ross Bridge. I just want the Lakeshore corridor to continue to fill, and eventually, connect to 459.
