The fact that police have some bad guys doesn't negate the fact that there are still bad guys in Boston's neighborhoods. A grandmother was killed by a stray bullet sitting on her porch on Saturday. What does that have to do with the Boston police? They are NOT the biggest gang in the city. Stop deflecting from black on black violence.

I'm certainly not saying what happened with the Rose guy was right...he was accused of some awful things...but as we know it isn't easy always to fire someone based on accusations especially when they're union protected. It's hard to understand how or why he was promoted though. Surely there were better candidates.

There are dozens of cops fired for lesser stuff, find them and ask. I know of two who were fired for DUIs. They should have been...but how they got fired quickly and this guy stayed on seems crazy.

I think it's just hard to find proof of past sexual molestation. I mean when people wait years and years to come forward how do you prove that? Just take the accusers words?

There is another thread on here where a coach in Duxbury was accused of raping a student 15 years ago. Student is now dead, coach has been fired but how does one prove that it really happened?

He would have had a right to due process. People get accused of stuff all the time, including cops. And rightfully, nobody should lose their job prior to seeing their day in court. But him receiving a promotion while there was an ongoing (pretty serious) investigation against him, that's insane. DUIs are usually pretty cut and dry in comparison to a charge like that, much easier to prove and be over and done. As for BBMM equating them to the "largest gang in Boston", as absurd as that idea is it should not be "entirely" discarded. While the actual street gangs are obviously the ones terrorizing the neighborhoods to where a grandmother can't sit on her front porch without having to be worried about being grazed by bullets, scandals that erode confidence and trust in the Boston Police render them less effective at fighting and solving this same gang violence. For all the dedicated police officers on those streets trying their hardest, their job was just made that much more difficult.

2 days after a house fire, multiple shots fired last night by the corner of Enneking Pkwy and Gordon Ave. This is right on the edge of Stony Brook Reservation, in what was always a very quiet area.

There was also gunfire on Stellman Rd. in Roslindale, which is right off Washington St. by Healy Field.

What a lame gang - nearly three thousand strong and only gets one kill every decade or so while all those crews with no more than 20 "souljahs" are dropping several bodies every year.

On a more serious note what else would you expect from a farrakhanista racist and a grifter in training trying to get to the feeding trough full of those sweet, sweet taxpayer dollars?

And every last one was shot by BPD - the biggest, meanest gang in Boston that is hunting Black Children for sport(tm, #BLM) and must be defunded and abolished on the spot, amirite?

Not all gangs participate in regular gun violence or gun violence at all. Id say most don't. It's not a great route to take
