As much as I love my Philly fighters, it goes without saying that Danny's fought some not so great competition (Rod Salka), and struggled against many of the quality opponents he has recently faced (didn't look good against Peterson or Herrera). He's scheduled to fight Robert Guerrero in January but that guy's best days are clearly behind him.
That said, there's a lot of talent out there that could make for a better matchup against Garcia. Who would you rather see?
Definitely Adrien Broner! That would be a good match. Plus, it would be a "War of Insults" between AB and Garcia's dad who just can't seem to keep his mouth shut.
IMO him and broner would be a lopsided easy win for him, I want to see him tested - maybe keith thurman
I don't think Broner would be a lopsided win for Danny. He has problems with fast fighters (see Zab Judah and Amir Khan fights). He has problems against cagier fighters that can keep him at bay with a solid jab (see Lamont Peterson fight). On paper, Broner is the type of fighter who could be a nightmare for Danny. The biggest question is Broner's motivation. He just seems lazy.
Khan is the best possible fight. In Khan Garcia will be facing a fighter who is more defensive and more focused than the last time they met. The problem is this, Khan has mediocre punching power and a mediocre chin, so Garcia has more than a puncher's chance of pulling off the upset.

I think Khan has some decent speed and combinations. If he had more power on his punches he would be quite something. Then again, that chin doesn't help much.
If they face again, Garcia could put pressure on him and try to connect a punch to that chin/jaw and dominate a wobbly Khan.
Ultimately, I think Khan would beat Garcia. The problem is he could get way more fighting Brook and it's an easier fight IMO.
So where does this leave Garcia? Who knows?
