Living west of Four Corners?

Marijuana...yeah unfortunately I know ALL about that coming from Colorado. We live in the NE plains a half hour away from the NE/CO border. Our "sterling" little town houses the state prison and all of their relatives who have come to roost here. Thank god the City Council has had enough smarts to put a city wide ban on it here locally.

There's a meth problem here, just below the surface or just a 5 minute trip from Walmart to see its effects in action.

Like I said, it's funny how much people seem to THINK they know about a place when they've never been there or had any experience other than gossip (hence my question about meth.) From everything I've been reading here and other places, Bozeman doesn't seem to be the kind of place where I'm going to have to worry about the residents; unlike where I live presently.

Husband has boots on the ground there today and flies out late in the afternoon tomorrow. Hope he can find a place there as I'm ready to move and never look back. Wish I could take my house with me. Based on current rates where I live compared to there I had some major sticker shock.

I'd really like an older home, maybe a fixer upper. I've gotten spoiled living in my historic 100 year old Victorian we bought for 132k. *Sigh* Guess we can't have it all though. Such is life; sacrifices and all....
